wineLAIR is the home of a vibrant, Members-only community of wine lovers. Located in DC’s West End neighborhood, our amenities include temperature- and humidity-controlled wine lockers, private event space, a full bar, luxe lounge, and seasonal plates from our kitchen.
We also offer unique experiences, ranging from educational wine tastings to chef pop-up dinners to wine-focused lecture series and winemaker events.
Our Members enjoy exclusive access to our intimate, private space, where they can relax and unwind or entertain.

wineLAIR DC is the US partner to the European wineBANK clubs
The first wineBANK was founded in the Rheingau wine region near Frankfurt, Germany in 2009. It has been the meeting place for wine lovers in central Europe ever since. Founded by fifth-generation Balthazar Ress wine-estate owner Christian Ress, wineBANK has grown into a network of wine-storage and community-building clubs. Over the years, this unique private-club concept has grown into a successful, international network with multiple locations across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. The biggest advantage: with their private RFID card, each member has access to all locations in Europe 24/7, 365 days a year! Members can enjoy wine with business partners and friends wherever they wish.
In 2020, this concept was introduced to the United States as wineLAIR DC. Additional locations are planned across the country.
