Calling all fans of Oregon Pinot! —

We are excited to host Jason Romero of Martin Woods Vineyards [link: https://www.martinwoodswinery.com/ ] as he leads us in a tasting of some of his favorites from their portfolio. Since 2009, Evan Martin has been creating enchanting, cool-climate expressions of varieties typical for Oregon such as Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, but also some surprising grapes like Gamay, Gruner Vetliner, and Gewurztraminer from sustainable, low-intervention production methods. 

As a winemaker, Martin takes great care to produce wines which perfectly balance delicacy with structure and elegant aromatics with depth of flavor, to create intriguing, complex wines sure to delight and inspire! He grows eight different varieties over more than a dozen vineyard sites, and lovingly creates many single-vineyard bottlings to showcase the versatility of Oregon terroir and further our appreciation of the region. 

Our tasting will feature some of Martin Woods’ benchmark wines, as well as a few rare library bottlings exclusive to our event. Join us as we explore the wines from this exciting new producer!
