Everything in a bottle of Cazcanes is authentic and handmade. The bottle itself is recycled glass, made in Guadalajara, as well as the wooden tops which take 12 days to shape and stain. The name Cazcanes comes from the Western/Northern Central Mexican tribe, the Caxan people, that use to live in and around several states in Mexico, specifically Jalisco; the legends state that they were either the only tribe to not be conquered by the Spaniards or the last one. So that’s where the name comes from, “Unconquerable spirit.”
Additive free. Certified Kosher and Certified Organic. Three ingredients make up this tequila; water agave and yeast. No sugar, no caramel coloring, no glycerin, nothing but the goodness from Earth.
